Plowed skatingtrack about 7 km on the lake Ljustern town near the Sater. The track round a nice island. The width is approximately 4 meters and is suitable for exercise skating and walking. The track is open when conditions permit.

Starting locations with parking: Skönvik area at the sports hall, the park Prästkälla close to the city and at Säters camping.

The track is a natural ice on lake that just is plowed to a track and can be uneven in places. Ljustern is a lake of varying nature. In the East, Säters inner city, which is a fine old wooden town with shops, restaurants and other services. On the south side there is Säters Camping and a amall island Sågholmen that the track round and is popular to rest in the early spring. West side consists mainly of natural areas. To the north it connects the lake to skönvik area where, among other things include a restaurant, conference facilities, swimming and sports hall. Around the lake there are six wooden sheds and barbecues that can be freely used year round.

Caution: There are two inlets into the lake by streams from the south and west, and an outlet in the east of the city. For freeriding, it is important to be observant of ice thickness in these places.
